I'd like to see evidence that SNI GUARANTEED 2000-2500 miles per week. I've been trucking over ten years, the last 18 months with SNI. No company I have ever been with has guaranteed a certain number of miles. There have been estimates as to what a driver "should" do, but no guarantees. I remember being a new driver. Managing your expenses is a learned skill, and does not come easy for everyone (self included). That is indeed part of the challenge of being a new OTR driver. Part of the problem is eating on the road...it costs a bunch of money. Each driver has to learn how to control his or her food costs. Some use coolers, some stay with non-perishables. But you have to learn to control the dollars going out versus the money coming in. By the way, I started out at .20 per mile. Not much at all. In conclusion, I note that you question SNI as to why it took so long to go after you for the money. I wonder how long you figured you got away with it.

Per the FMCSA safe-stat site as of the 20th of Feb 2009, they have a general score of 36 (Pass). Their accident score is at unmeasurable (state crashes of 1406 in 30 months). The driver score is at 30 and the vehicle score is 33. All impressive coming from that the company has so many tractors in service and in the past hired mainly student drivers. FYI: the lower the number the better it rating. AGAIN, don't just down my back...I just posted the facts from the FMCSA website. Do I think they are golden and are clean? Hmmm no....but again before you post make sure the facts confirm what you are saying here.

Per the FMCSA safe-stat site as of the 20th of Feb 2009, they have a general score of 36 (Pass). Their accident score is at unmeasurable (state crashes of 1406 in 30 months). The driver score is at 30 and the vehicle score is 33. All impressive coming from that the company has so many tractors in service and in the past hired mainly student drivers. FYI: the lower the number the better it rating. AGAIN, don't just down my back...I just posted the facts from the FMCSA website. Do I think they are golden and are clean? IF I UNDERSTOOD THE LAW THAT I READ, THERE ARE WAYS TO GET OUT FROM UNDERNEATH A STUDENT LOAN THAT TURNED OUT TO BE AN UNCONSCIONABLE CONTRACT BUT YOU WILL HAVE TO GET LEGAL HELP. THE LOUSY COLLECTORS USE ALL KINDS OF SCARE TACTICS. MAY I SUGGEST AN UNLISTED AND UNPUBLISHED HOME PHONE TO GIVE YOU SOME PEACE AND QUIET AT HOME. PEOPLE CAN GET UNLISTED NUMBERS BUT NOT THE UNPUBLISHED ONES.
