Tsunami Electronic Cigarettes are a brand of electronic cigarettes used as a replacement for smoking analog or regular cigarettes. The first week i used this product it was amazing. I had no issues aside from the price which was about $60.00 plus around $5 to $10 for each liquid. A small price to pay for not spending $10 a day on a pack of cigarettes. So i thought until the tank broke after about a week, if that. There is a lifetime warranty on the product so i was not concerned and figured I could easily replace it or just call the company and send it in. How very, very wrong I was. Not only was the phone number nearly impossible to find, but the manner in which "customer service" responded and handled the situation was appalling to say the very least! Not only was it unprofessional (which you will see as i will post a copy of the conversation here) but the person who answered was rude, arrogant, wrote in colored text and sent numerous smiley face images as if that would somehow make up for the total lack of knowledge about their own product as well as the fact that they told me that i should just try a new product. Now, what kind of company tells people to just find a new product when they have an issue with theirs? Most likely a company that is trying to swindle and rob you of your hard earned money. This issue became far greater than money the moment they began to ridicule me via conversation. Not only were they deragatory, they acted as if i had no idea what i was talking about as well as wrote numerous times "Sir, !!!'s and flagrantly dismissive comments" that honestly made me think twice as a consumer not only about the money i spent - again over $100, but also about my HEALTH AND WELL BEING. This product is truly unhealthy- which you will see they themselves made very clear to me in the final email that they sent. Please do not purchase this product, not only because it breaks after about a week, but also because if it does in fact break. they not only have a truly insufficient customer service team to "help you", but because they demand money for this "lifetime warrantied porduct". I then went on their Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/tsunamiecig) and made comments about my health, their costumer service reps, as well as ensured that their customers were aware of what i had been going through and they deleted all my comments, disabled their comments, and then went ahead to delete every comment on that page that was negative towards their product (which there were very very many.) I only wish I had seen this page before i purchased this terrible, costly, ineffective product. Not only did they never once offer to replace it free of charge, but again, they told me off and pretty much said that this product is not for me because i must not know how to use it... Yes i must not know how to properly utilize this product - Just to mentioned i hold 3 degrees- 1 in professional communications, 1 masters in Education and another Masters in Childhood development. Im sure that I am more than capable of not only reading directions, but after i asked those wonderful people at their "customer service" what to do and they did a poor job themselves of describing it I have doubts whether or not THEY know how to use their own product or if it is even SAFE. Which according to them-- as again, you will read as follow, it is NOT.

If it taste like its burnt you need a new tank.  You will have to update your tank every so often.
OR You could try to clean the tank out with water, but make sure it is completely dry before you put the tank back on the battery

Yes, if the only time you see a little juice on battery part AFTER unscrewing than it is fine.  ( By the way, I was asking about the burnt taste to see if there was a problem with your tank! )

Sir,
If you are using something that is harmful to you, than why are you using it?  It is normal for some E-Liquid to get into places while your pouring it into your tank.  You should not get any E- Liquid in that middle hole If you do- than you will have some E-Liquid on your battery.  Avoid the middle hole and it is fine.
 
If you think you are doing anything that will cause health problems than discontinue use.

So as you can see by the they i was spoken to via this email.. I am not only scared for my health, which as you can read for yourself they wrote "If you are using something that is harmful to you, than why are you using it?"

Well I am using it because i purchased it in order to quit smoking from a company that make electronic cigarettes that would help me, in fact, quite smoking. But apparently I did not realize that they are harmful to my health. What type of responses are these?? They are so rude, would not even answer my questions and have been deleting all my comments so other ill knowing consumers have no idea that this product is not only flimsy, but also clearly dangerous, as per customer service from tsumani themselves.... Now... Let me also send the conversation they deleted from Facebook so you can see what I am dealing with on an even deeper base.

Again, thank goodness i saved this before they deleted the entire thread, as they deleted every single negative comment about their product from their Facebook site:

Along with my comments I have a list of comments from another angry consumer Todd Hastle- who himself wrote a seperate Ripoff report before I even had any idea that this product was faulty and dangerous. I got the chance to save his as well due to the fact that his were deleted as well.

Sir you are the problem here.  let me give you a tip sir.  If you want to get help from a customer service rep....don't be a d****e.  That simple Sir.  saying sir is also my favorite way to deal with raging lunatics like yourself sir.  Your ranting complaining made me want to kill myself.  If you read the insstuctions they clearly say the tanks only lasts 4-12 weeks.  I can think of a lot worse scams than that.  Like cigarettes.  Quit yer bitchin h*e

 I have had a Tsunami x1000 for months and have had no problem. As far as the oil getting on top of the batter, there are a few things that may be causing that. 1. When you fill the container with oil, make sure you get no oil down the little metal tube in the middle. After you fill it make sure the plastic mouth piece goes on securly over the metal piece and screw it on tightly. Make sure there is an O ring a the bottom of the mouth piece. After I fill mine, I always unscrew it and look at the top of the battery. If there is a little oil, tab it out with a cue tip.

The only other thing I can think of is maybe the top piece isn't fitting tight all the time. If it isn't, oil will get down the middle and to the top of the battery. Everyone I know has been very pleased with the tsunami. If it cost my brother $500.00 I would not complain. He has been using tsunami since march and hasn't had a cigarette since.(March-Sept) He was a 2 pack a day smoker for 30 years. He has no desire for cigarettes anymore.

I also learned about cleaning the tank. Get a little bottle of vodka( or maybe rubbing alcohol) and pour some in the tank. Shake it up and clean it out. Dont stick anything down into the plastic. I don't know how strong that little metal piece is that goes down the middle.You can repeat the process and clean it out a couple times. MAKE SURE THE PLASTIC PART IS DRY WITH NO ALCOHOL IN IT. iYou can rinse with water after a let it dry. I know it seems like a pain but it works. I am not telling anyone to use alcohol, I am not responsible if you do not do it right and it blows up or catches on fire..... Never happened to be or my brother. But if you unhappy, try one of the couple hundred dollar ones.

I live in Michigan, where Tsunami distribution center is. I bought mine from a store that sells all different kinds. He recommended this one for price and performance. He showed me how to use and clean it, so it will last. Maybe find a store that sells them and talk with the people, most of them our quite knowledgeable.

I have done a lot of research on electronic cigaretted. I have seen them going for hundreds of dollars. The Tsunami cost me $40.00 plus tax. My brother uses another brand called Hypnotic vapors. They are made in michigan and the man came to his house to deliver his product. He like it better cause it is local and gets free stuff from the man. The man even said he thinks Tsunami is a good product. He is still using his hypnotice vapor cigarette cause it has a bigger batter, so more hit before he has to charge it.

Hope this was some help. If people stopped smoking and used Electronic Cigarettes it would cause lungs cancer rates that are around 500,000 a year to maybe 100 a year. It was just on the news that they are now considered just as safe as a nicotine patch. But you still feel like your smoking and your not getting all the other crap that's in cigarettes. You know that all cigarettes have carpet glue in them so they won't keep burning. They don't tell us all the chemicals in cigarettes. Do you want to smoke carpet glue.

Wow. First off you were pretty rude to that employee. Its not their fault that the product didn't work. You probably just recieved a faulty product. Don't blame it on that person

Second, they gave you a soulution. It honestly seems like you wanted to complaine about something. I understand quiting cigs makes you mean, but theres no reason to turn into an angry b***h/d**k (don't know if your a guy or girl)

Clearly you've never worked in any kind of job that deals with people like you. 

I feel aweful for that person. Its hard dealing with cunts like you. 

I apploude them for handeling it as best they could because i would have gone off on you half way in.

(btw didn't see the smiley faceses you were talking about...)

ive een smoking on the disposables for over a year never had a problem with them when i switched to the 1000x tank i was told that i needed to replace my tank once every month or so paid hte $5 warranty fee and thats all the $5 is nothing comparing to the price of smokes that i buy plus it helped me quit and im down to 6 mg of eliquid now their customer service are nice and professional but i think you are trying to scam the company for free stuff
