Seaside Computers Won't return computer dropped off for repair Surfside Beach South Carolina
On 1/14/2008 I took my laptop into Seaside Computers in Surfside Beach SC to get fixed.They told me it had a virus. they charged me $250 to have it cleaned up. I took it home and it still didn't work. It took it back to them on the 16th. they told me it needed a keyboard. It would cost me $60.
A couple of weeks went by and they called me and told me that it was sent up to their store in Conway. They never explained why they had to do that. When I went to the Conway store, they said that it was in their"corporate office"getting fixed. The won't tell you where this so called office is. All they give you is a phone number . No one ever answers this number. the only time I got anyone to talk to, he said he would have to look into it when my computer will get fixed. That he will get back to me. He never did. His name was Tim.
It is now 4/6/2008. Both the Conway store and the Surfside shop tell me that the corporate off ice is handling my computer. I can't talk to anyone at the corporate office and there is no actual physical location for it that they will tell you about. I just want my computer back. I'm not even asking for the $250 that they robbed me of before that.
Now for the rest of the story. I took this computer in July 2007 to a store called Computer Inferno to get fixed. They got $250 from me up front to fix it. I was sold a $100 2 year warranty. They had the computer for 7 months and never fixed it. I had to scream at them for days to finally get them to give me my computer. I didn't try to pursue my bogus warranty. What good is a warranty if they keep the computer that long?
Then I took the computer to Seaside computers to try to fix it. Unfortunately for me, they are the same people.I didn't know that then.
Now I can't get my laptop back from them even in an unfixed condition. Google these bums and see how many complaints there are about them ripping people off. they should be put out of business.

Sorry to tell you but Computer Inferno is owned by the same creeps who own Seaside. I would bring your receipt and the cops with you in order to get your computer back.
