I originally accessed the secureeasypay.com website via a link through a site called Vindale Research. They pay subscibers to use products and then take surveys on them online. I followed the link, and signed up for the free trial for Grant Pro software that is supposed to help you find government grant funding for school and home, etc.

I provided my credit card info, as per the requirement, and submitted the one time fee of 1.97 for shipping of the product. however, when I came close to the end of the 14 day trial period, I found that the website I'd documented produced only a blank page, and the phone number they'd provided in their terms and conditions for cancellation produced only a "busy signal" and did not function.

I have sent a communication to Vindale requesting information on the company and how to contact them to cancel service, and I may now have to dispute charges with my credit card company because I cannot cancel and am in danger of being billed for continued service!

Grant Scam Solution

#2Consumer Suggestion

Mon, July 28, 2008

I accessed what was called the EZ Grant Pro Kit through the Vindale Research website. I knew it was only a 14-day trial, and wanted to cancel the membership. I went to search for the site, and could not find it. For several days I tried different key searches, but no luck. I tried calling Vindale to get information, but you are not able to speak to a "live" person. I then submitted an inquiry ticket, but that was at the end of the day this past Friday (7/25/08), so I wasn't able to get a response before the weekend. This is another issue, but they didn't even have the site information listed anymore, which would be helpful in order to be able to have some kind of contact information, especially since the site could not be found on your own. Of course, the 14 days were up, and the membership fee was taken from my account. And, believe it or not, that was the only way I was able to get information to get in touch with the company. I used the phone number that was listed on my statement, and called. I guess the parent company's website is www.nubodi.com; and, the grant website is www.secureeasypay.com...which, everyone is now aware of. The phone number is 1 801 208 8700. The girl said it would take 14 business days to refund the money. I just made the phone call this morning. I'll send a follow-up report. Hopefully, this helps.
