Seedlings.com, Products.byme.com, Miles Ranger avoids contact fraudulent business practices refuses to ship products Ripoff Fairfield Maine
On December 20, 2004, I placed an order with seedlings.com for several varieties of Aloe seeds. The order totalled $18.49.
On December 23, 2004, my credit card was charged $18.49 (full order) by products.byme.com. At that time, I expected to promptly receive my purchase since an honest merchant would never charge one's card for products they do not intend to ship.
However, by almost the end of January I had not received anything - no email or phone call explaining any kind of situation, no seeds, nothing. On January 20, 2005, I called the phone number on their site and also in my email receipt. I spoke with a person named Miles Ranger, and informed him that I had not received my order.
At first, he said he thought they were out of stock, then put me on hold. When he returned to the phone, Miles Ranger told me he had the package in his hand and would ship it "tomorrow or Saturday" (I called on Thursday).
Well, three weeks later, still no seeds. I phoned this company/person again, and the phone rang and rang and rang - finally redirected to a full voice mail box. Since that, and until now (03/16/05) I have attempted to call several times but only getting a full voice mail box each time.
I have also sent several emails enquiring about my order, which have gone unanswered. Most recently, I have sent two emails requesting a full refund and cancellation of my order since it is obvious they have no intention to ship my purchase. Well, no refund has been issued, STILL no seeds (and almost 3 months after being charged for the order), and NO reponse of any kind from this company/person.
I would like a full and immediate refund and cancellation of my order if this company has no intention to ship within a reasonable amount of time (30 days from original charge).
