Seeley Financial - Palm Financial Same rip-off as Palm Finanicial Calgary Alberta
I received a letter,dated Feb 01 2008, that was exactly the same as the one sent by Palm Financial that someone else that reported this scam. It reads: We are pleased to inform you through this letter that our network shows you as the lucky winner of the unclaimed prize money in the amount of Fifty Seven Thousand Dollars-(57,000.00) in United States funds. The system indicates that, your name was randomly selected through a computerized ballot system as a winner for the 2007 sweepstakes-draws. Congratulations!! All participants were selected through a computerized ballot system drawn from Readers Digest, Publishers Cleating House, Online Sweepstakes, Internet Games ect Enclosed is a Check of (3,987.85).which covers both the administrative payment and clearance fees of your winnings. For authorization and processing of your price,please contact your agent Lucinda Johnson at TEL:1-204 887 0942. Your winnings must be claimed not later than Feb 18 2008. Your name is attached to claim number US/CA-09/02-099WD. We advice you to keep your claim number confidentially secured until your claim is processed and funds remited as part of our security protocal. Please remember to quote your numberin all correspondence with us in order to avoid unnecessary delays. Congratulations again from our staff and sponsors. The check is from Pioneer Bank in Rapid City, South Dakota. I called Ms. Johnson and got an answering machine, and left a message for her to call me back. What I'm going to do is offer to sign the check over to Seeley Financial (Or to her directly,) to cover the "Administrative payment and clearance fees." I am excited to hear her reaction to this proposal. If this check is legit, this should be no problem, as I will be giving this money to them to cover these fee's. I hope that this helps, and encourage you to be creative when dealing with these people.......heck, have fun with them!
