SFT Casting, San Francisco Talent Casting ripoff scam artists frauds dishonest San Francisco California
My son saw their ad in the Pennysaver and called. They said they needed a credit card to charge $1.98. I got on the phone and asked the information and they said it was only $1.98 one time charge and they would send a "packet" of information for him to get started in movie extra castings, etc.. Then AFTER they took my card information she said it would be $19.80 per week charge after that. I said NO! I explained it was dishonest to take the card infor and say it was only $1.98 and then AFTEr say the part about the $19.80. I said CANCEL immediately we are not interested. She transferred me to customer service and I spoke with "Sid" who gave me a confirmation number and said in a couple of days my card would be credited the $1.98 as the charge was already processed. I was assured that no further chrges would be put through on my card as I was refusing to agree to the transaction.
Less than 1 week later, they began charging my card the $19.80. I called, waited 20 minutes, gave the confirmation numbe and explained the situation and the rep "Greg" hung up on me.Every time I try to call back I wait 15 - 20 minutes and get cut off. I had to file a fraud claim with my bank and put stop payments from their company. DO NOT BE DUPED by these rip-offs! They are scammers and you cannot get ahold of anyone after you sign up! Just try to call them and see if you can get through!
