When I first found the Shop Jeen website I thought it was really cool. I liked the stuff and how it was presented and it truly made shopping fun. I genuinely thought the stuff looked really cool and I started ordering quite often from them but it only took a few shipments in to realize that this stuff is not worth even a fraction of its price.
Everything I ordered from the first two packages started to get ruined, even though I only wore it like 1-2 times and it was very gentle wear. The buckles broke on a pair of sandals I ordered the 2nd time I wore them. The sole of another shoe just came off after the first day i wore them just walking around shopping at the mall.
With the clothes, which were pretty expensive so i assumed they would be good quality but I was wrong. A skirt I ordered got a rip on it so easily , I didn't even know how it happened. Another skirt which I was so excited to wear had gems sewn all over it and before I even wore the skirt, a gem fell off because i folded the skirt in half. Everything is so flimsy it almost seems like its made for 1 time use!!! The t-shirts which cost about $30 can't even be washed normally in a washing machine. Two of the t-shirts I ordered completely faded after the first wash.
To make matters worse I have found quite a good amounr this cheap flimsy clothing on the internet from anywhere from 50% to 75% cheaper if you just try to search the name of the clothing item using Google!!! Now at those prices, it makes sense to buy this stuff. After all Shop jeen does specialize in fast fashion and trends that come and go like the wind, but its one thing to pay $10 for a t-shirt you will probably only wear 1-3x, but a whole other thing to pay $30. Did I mention most of the clothing (except the designer stuff) doesnt even come with tags?? Is this stuff even new/unworn?? Yuck!!
The only stuff on this website that is worth buying is the designer stuff. Shoes by YRU, merchandise by MISHKA, Reason Clothing, etc. I actually searched these items online on other websites and on the actual designers' sites and the prices on these sites are about the same as Shop Jeen.
However other than the designer stuff, everything else on the site is a huge ripoff and can be found online if you know how to search and be a little clever with the words you plug into the search engine. You are literally paying them multiple times what these clothing items are worth just because they know how to market their clothing to appeal to the fun young internet generation. At the end of the day its just a flashy gimmick.
A well designed website that will sell you total garbage without you even realizing it because they're very good at marketing and getting to their customers. I too was fooled at first but at elast now I can share this experience and help others realize that this website is not worth it. i don't really think this company will be around much longer but who knows?
