I made two calls to Silicon Support Service for technical support, thinking it was the authorized support for Nero software

I explained my problem of restoring my backup. The first technical support person stated: "You cannot restore a backup to the original directory in a Windows environment. You must create a new directory. This is wrong information. My second call to Silicon Support Service, the technical support said: You needed to perform a low level format because of bad sectors on my hard drive. Again, bogus information.

Aside from giving incorrect and wrong information, Silicon Support Services gives the impression that it is both knowledgeable of Nero Software and authorized to do provide support. When I contacted Nero my e-mail, however, I learned that Silicon Service is not an authorized support service for Nero. Also, I learned from Nero technical support person that Nero backup software is not compatible with my Sony's VAIO Raid configuration. So, I was charged for nothing.

I have tried to contact this company for a full refund the, but there is no physical address. Therefore, I have notified my bank regarding the alleged technical support and the these two charges which are now in dispute.
