My move was supposed to happen on a Sunday, between 2 & 5. I arranged my schedule to get off work by 2 and made sure that I had people there at my apartment in case they showed up at 2. They not only did not show up at 2 they did not show up at all. When I called at a quarter to five I was told to wait until five before calling back. At about ten after five I called back and wanted to know what was going on. They told me that because of the rain the day before the company was behind. They wanted me to reschedule for the following Wednesday, but I had to be out of the apartment by that Sunday. I kept trying to get a hold of them but to no avail. I finally left a message and told them how I felt, just before we left the apartment. On my way to where I was going to sleep that night I got a phone call from Karen, who was very apologetic and agreed to reschedule me for the following morning. Now I have to adjust my schedule again, but I did. We had a in depth conversation and agreed that I needed a 26 foot truck. She told me the two men would be there by 10:30 in the morning. They did not arrive until ten minutes until twelve, with a fourteen foot truck. They were told that I had minimal furniture and ten boxes. I never told anyone that I only had ten boxes. I can't imagine anyone moving with only ten boxes. I had more like 100, there's no way I would have said that I had ten. Regardless of that, with only a fourteen foot truck they were not going to be able to get it all in there, at least not in one trip. So after $650 they moved what they could and I had to find a way to move the rest. It would have cost me close to a thousand if they had to go back and load the rest up and then take it to my storage. So I decided to move it myself. They felt they were doing me a favor taking fifty dollars off my bill, but $600 was still too much. I only had $400 in cash and it wasn't the movers fault, they were great, the one guy was trying to stay within my price range, because they wanted a tip. And frankly I wanted to tip them but when the bill still totalled $600 minus the $100 deposit I still had to use my charge in order to pay the rest. And using my charge they add 5%. As if my charge isn't going to add enough interest. I would never recommend this company to anyone.
