Update - I called again 10/11. When rep (Jed) knew I was irate - kept me on hold for 10 minutes then hung up. I called again. This time spoke to a "Revi" who actually had the audacity to try and convince me to keep this "membership". When he realized I wasn't biting and getting more and more upset - he offered me only "partial credit" because I already "used" some of the membership. Claims there was no record of my August call to cancel. By this point I was so furious he said "Ok, for you, we will give you full credit". I realize I was speaking to an idiot so didn't want to waste my breath - but I am recording everything and communicating same to Bank of America.
