Simple Way To An A lies lies lies...preying on struggling kids!!! This company should be investigated Santa Barbara California
My 11 year old son started 6th grade this year at a new Charter school and was really struggling with grades. He kept asking me to call the "Simple Way to an A" he even gave me their phone number. They offer a free 30 day trial you only pay shipping. It is an organization guide, "guaranteed to help kids get As". I received the package, a huge box full of notebooks and folders. We decided that with the economy so down, we just couldn't afford $360.00 of notebooks. Yes, $360.00 or 4 payments of $89.95! I called before sending the product back to make sure I was doing it right. At that time, they offered to cut the payments in half! Still, $180.00 on notebooks?! So I very carefully returned the items. I followed all the directions on sending the package back. Got a return receipt from the post office. A week later, they charged my account $89.95. I called them a week later, they said it takes 30 days to process a return but they did receive my returned product. This was November. They charged my account in December and again in November! So, not only did I return the product in perfect, unopened shape, they received my return and still charged me $180.00 plus shipping of about $17.00!!! They have not lived up to their promises and are very hard to get a hold of. The worst thing is, they are targeting good kids that just want to do well in school! Shame on them! Please make them answer for this!
