I purchased a Smith&Nephew Exoghen 2000+ Bone Healing System for about $2800 to aid in healing a broken bone that was recommended by my surgeon - the product worked as advertised and has done well for years. recently it started giving me a "repair unit" indicaiton on the screen.
I contacted Smith&Nephew Customer Service to find out where I neede to send the unit for repair. Imagine my shock when I was told that since they no longer make this unit, that they no longer support this unit and that I should just dispose of it. Just throw away almost $2800 of personal money spent on their equipment.
Any company that does not support what it markets and sells, is ultimately scamming the public for monetary gain.
While they do make a good product, they will eventually tell you to just throw away a product that you spent hard earned money on that you paid for, because they choose not to support it any longer.
Do not waste your money on supporting a company that has little to no regard for the customer or the money spent purchasing their product.
Overall - their lack of support and concern outweighs the product they produce.
