This outfit promises to "clean up and fix problems" with your computer, for a fee. Then you are supposed to call them once a month so they can make sure you're computer is OK,at which point they "find" a problem from which you were not protected. At this point they sell you more "fixes". If you refuse to buy it, they tell you your computer will crash. And as they have control of your computer you can do nothing with your computer until you buy more "protection"! All of this adds up to quite an expensive "fix". In my case over $1400 .00 . During all of this, while you are on the phone with them (as you have to be, since they are controlling your computer), you are coerced into signing a "Credit Card Authorization Form" . This pretty much gives them access to your personal credit card info, and the authority to charge your card for "products and services provided". Then after they "scan and fix" your computer, you're computer is released back to you, your bank account is lower, due to their "fixes" and you can look forward to going through all this again next month. I'm 72 years old, not very computer literate, and do not know how to get out of this cycle. It's all very scary, expensive and should be illegal. So who does one turn to for help?
