I have dealt with Sonic 3 times now. The first time they took the money out before my paycheck was deposited. They had asked what time my payroll deposited my paycheck, and took it out one hour before. This cause havac with my credit union. The lady I spoke with was Yolanda Williams. She was very curt with me. Explaining that it wasn't their fault.
Well my credit union finally got them to accept a wire transfer. But then they decided they didn't want to give us the wire number and needed a western union quick collect. My credit union thought this was VERY odd. Why couldn't they just wire the money. This was when I was in Canada visiting anyway. THey put me on hold and did a trace on my phone. I was using my cell so when they came back and said I was calling from such and such a number which is based out of my home town I was like uhh, OK, I'm using my comapanies cell.
So I told them there is no Western Union, I want to get this settled today since the loan is due today, and it was your fault for deducting money at 6am in the morning. My credit union finally agreed to pay their fees, and remove the NSF fee from my account.
The second time they set it up for a withdraw on Monday. That Monday after my payday. I come into work, check my account and it's fine. The money was taken out at 6am.
The third time the money wasn't there. There was a problem that came up and so I knew it was my fault. I knew I was going to have do to the Western Union thing. NO BIG DEAL it was my fault this time. Soooo they keep calling me, and I tell them that I can only pay 1/2 now, and then the other 1/2 with my next paycheck. Tiffany Stone stated that the money is due in full. WE CANNOT ACCEPT PARTIAL PAYMENT. She got kind of loud. So I'm like ok, so what's next.
If payment isn't made in full by Monday, we'll be contacting your employer for wage garnishment. This doesn't make any sense. Only because then, it'll take another 2 weeks to process, etc, etc, etc. If you do it my way, you'll have your money quicker, and won't be wasting anyones time. So declined to comment on that saying true, but the money is due now. I told her if that's the way it's gonna be, I'll let my money set in my account and earn interest. Garnish my wages (which I thought could only 30% at a time, but after looking at the contract it isn't true. it's the full paycheck. and supposedly whatever you loan can't be more than your paycheck. if you do, you lied on official documents.) So they contact my employer and it's all set up to have my paycheck taken. NO BIGGIE.
I come into work today, and two attempts have been take to take my money. They got 1/2 their money, and now are trying to collect on the other 1/2. If I would have known this, I would have left that 1/2 that I offered to pay in the account.
I have other checks out there that haven't cleared yet.

I had dealings with Ivan McKinnon I also had a check come back in NSF due to an early deposit( I got paid bi-weekly but they decided to take out their withdrawal a week early). Ivan then proceeded to call me continously despite the fact that I called me on the day the withdrawal presented to my bank to alert them of the fact that they with drew a week early and the money was not available. On one particluar day I was at work and could not answer my cell so he proceeded to call my cell over 15 times in a 5 minute span So I took break and went outside to speak to him. When in the 1st 3 minutes of the call I informed him that my husband got paid early due to an upcoming holiday would send the money that very day at 6:00 pm when I got off work. He ignored that an proceeded to berate me and yell at me so loudly that my boss was walking by and stopped due to this man screaming at me and I had the phone away from my ear. I hung up then he called right back and told me dont ever hang up on him again. I then ask him if he was working for Sonic or Ecare since he ID'd himself as a rep from Ecare he stated ECare which would make him a 3rd party collector. I use to work for a collection agency I then read him the reading act of the laws that he had broke. When I was thru all he could do was clear his throat then I ask for he supervisor and he promptly connect me with Ms Williams and explained what just happened and the Sonic/Ecare and Ivan McKinnon and her also will be named in the suit against them. She got real quiet then removed the Nsf fee and gave me instruction to do the Quick Collect. Since then I was never done business with a payday loan company again and this has been 1 1/2 years old. Sonic doenst even send me emails anymore.

Hi There, I was reading the responses from you and i can verify that they do not have any offices in willmington and yes indeed the collections department is in fact in surrey bc. The address that you have listed is correct. I have been there personally. This is the worst company that i have ever worked for in my entire life. All hat is said about the comapny and their address' are correct. I feel sorry for the people that are still there and all the customers that they still have. But by the looks of things there will not be anymore customers if they continue to do business as they are.

UPDATE: I found this address quite a few replies down... address// (not confirmed) 13696 104th Avenue Surrey, BC V3R-1V9 this is by the Guildford Office Park in Surrey. this address also seemed to be shared by DataPro Design Graphics & Printing (604-585-8739) so I'm not sure if this is an office complex or not?!?!?!
