We used Souncloud Viral based on promises that they deliver targeted Followers. It was soon realised that they make up fake accounts on Soundcloud, even blatantly stealing peoples pictures from the internet to use as profile pictures.
They were so obviously fake that we demanded that they immediately cease our campaign. Some of the profile images that they used were even used for several different Followers.
The followers stopped within a few days of requesting that they cease. They replied via email offering their apology and promising that the campaign will cease. They also state that they offer a money back guarantee which did not come through.
Almost 2 weeks later, there was still no refund and the followers started again. We contacted them to ask where our refund was and to express utter disappointment that the followers started again, as it was extremely time consuming to keep watching our account to delete them.
We are EDM artists and as such, we have a very niche market. The images they chose for the fake followers accounts looked like mug shots - criminals and thugs as you can see in one of the images. Some images were of movie stars and many used over and over for different accounts - an example of that can also be seen in the attached images.
After 4 days of emailing them - several times each day, we realised that we were not going to receive a response this time, so we filed a dispute with Paypal. The refund was finally obliged but - the campaign has still not ended!! We are still have to spend time each day removing the ridiculously fake followers!
If you are considering this service, I understand. Unfortunatelty, promoters and label owners seem to be more interested in how many 'Followers' and 'Likes' you have but everyone will know you have bought fake ones just from a very quick look at them on your page.
Many of the images used on the fake accounts even have watermarks on them because they are stock images that have not been paid for!!! Do you think people will believe you have real followers? No! People are not that stupid. We can tell a clubber/edm fan from a mile away and more to the point, we can tell who ISN'T... right?
This seemed like a legitimate service, promising 'high quality, targeted Followers' which ended up being a complete lie. We later found out that they just use software for everything from getting images, to opening Soundcloud accounts, to Following you, liking your tracks and reposting.
Not one profile image on any of the accounts look like they have any business having a Soundcloud account, let alone following techno/edm artists. Look at the pictures and you will see for yourselves. If you don't mind being seen as a fake, then go right ahead. If it's quality you're after - targeted traffic, look elsewhere. Don't be sucked in like we were.
