5 year old Spa developed a major crack in the shell, UK distributor washing their hands of it as the 'old' company went into liquidation - new company is in the same town and trading under the same name "SouthwestSpas" - maybe that's just a coincidence......
Told to contact makers and claim on warranty. Told that warranty depreciates at 10% per year - no issue with that. But I have to ship the SPA back to the California for them to inspect it and "if" they deem it faulty I can pay them 50% of the cost plus the shipping and import taxes to get it back to the UK.
So in my humble opinion the spa warranty is worthless unless you live in the States. Lesson learnt - buy from a reputable company who look after their customers in the future.
