I was hoping to go here to persue my dreams of working on and around airplanes. At first i contacted the school because Spartan was one of the first ones to pop up on google search. I gave them my email address and phone number hoping to gain some valuable information about this college. I was in a hurry to go to college and start my life, so with my ambitious attitude and a little help from spartan rushing me into the school, i started about a month later. I toured the campus and did not come into contact with any student due to it was a saturday before the next class. We asked to view the so called "Landing" but was told that there was no open rooms to show. But the Recruiter promised me great living, great education and a great staff. The job placement department was non existent. I was jobless for 3 months, eventhough i was in thejob placement office atleast once a week.I attended Spartan for 4 terms. In that 4 terms, my life at the "Landing" was ok for the first two weeks. I made alot of new friends but after that it all went down hill. We ended up getting treated like children. They were able to come in at anytime (even if we wanted to sleep in a little) and searched the apartment without any notice. While i was there 20 or more cars got broken into and one car got completely torched and conveniently the cameras were offline for the 15 minutes that all this happened. Even the security guard that was on duty didnt see anything. I got harrased by a certain teacher daily and the whole class saw this. Even when i tried to talk to the counselor, he didnt want to hear anything about it.
Things only became worse. I became homeless, jobless and no money to support me but a measly 50 dollars a week for food ( all my parents could afford) I was coming to the end of a term and went to the financial aid dept. to ask them what can be done about me leaving school. I asked them if i would be charged for anything or if i had to take care of anything before i left school and the financial aid rep. told me thatmy financial aid would be sent back and i would be all square with the school. I then went to the student services dept. and asked to receive my official transcript and she told me she would have to check to see if i owed any money. She came back about 2 mins later and took my money for the official transcript to be sent to my house. About a month later i started getting letters from them threatening me about them sending it to a credit bureau.

I need help taking legal action from others that have been victims of this odicious and fraudulent institution. It's not fair what they do to their employees and their students. Something must be done.
