We wanted to rent a trailer for a family vacation. They advertised ont he internet and we did everything by email and phone. I over communicated and told them what kind of vehicle I had to tow the trailer. When I arrived the service guy said no way could I tow the trailer with a bumper hitch. I wanted to be safe so he and I called the owner. Disappointed but calm I said I'll do something different and you can refund my deposit. The owner said "I'll let you know tomorrow what we will do about your deposit". I said I was not comfortable. He had $1,350 from me and I did not have anything. The owner said "the more you talk to me the more it's going to cost you". Blown away I finally gave up talking to him and had another tow vehicle drive 2 hours to meet me.
The joy continued. We took our family vacation and returned the trailed. They said it would take 5-8 days for me to get my $1,000 deposit back. Longer than I expected but I accepted it. 61 days later I finally got my deposit check after weeks of them not returning my calls, making promises and never sending my check. I finally got it when I drove 2 hours to their office and said I am hear to pick up my check.
Worst customer service I have ever experienced and all along I was worried that they woudl steal from me and my money would be lost.
