Springfield Veterinary Center Unnecessary surgery killing puppies Springfield Missouri
My little female Yorkie had a place on her leg that looked like it might be infected. I took to to the emergency clilnic and they took x-rays and said that she had been bitten by something. I had told them that she might be pregnant because I had seen her and my male Yorkie together. When they took x-rays, they said that they could tell if she was pregnant and they told me that she wasn't.
I took my Yorkie home and her leg got better. A couple of weeks afterwards, I noticed that she was laying around alot and her stomach was swelling and was hard. I had been told a couple of weeks prior that she wasn't pregnant, so I began to worry. I took her to Springfield Veterinary Center so that she could be checked.
Dr. Cynthia Wiseman looked at my dog and she asked me if she could be pregnant. I told her what happened at the emergency clinic and she recommended that she operate on her to see what was wrong. I signed the paperwork and Dr. Cynthis Wiseman operated on my dog.
A little while later Dr. Cynthia Wiseman came out to tell me that the only thing that was wrong with my dog is that she is pregnant with five puppies. She put the puppies back in and sutured my dog back up. A few days later my little Yorkie, Bonnie miscarried all of those babies. All five puppies died. If Dr. Cynthia Wiseman would have used better judgement and checked Bonnie more thoroughly, all the puppies would have lived and Bonnie would not have had to suffer through that surgery.
I was billed and had to pay for this needless surgery. Later I saw online where another customer of theirs complained about a cat that they had taken to them to be fixed. Unfortunately, they didn't know that the cat had already been fixed until the cat was opened up.
These people are surgery happy! Then they make you pay for it or your credit is ruined! I wouldn't take a houseplant to these people!!!
