In May 2002 my husband and I decided to switch our phone service to Sprint PCS.
Since I have been with sprint my phone has been turned off several times regarding over the spending limit charges. We recently went to their 2000 anytime minutes with free pcs to pcs, long distance and roaming. My husband is in the Navy and was going to be traveling over seas. We phoned sprint pcs regarding an international plan. They informed us that it would be an additional $4.00 per month for this plan. So we told the sales representative to add it to our existing plan of 2000 anytime minutes with free long distance, free roaming and free pcs to pcs service.
While my husband was away to Bermuda he telephoned me. He kept his cell phone on over in Bermuda for the 2 weeks he was there. On Sept 16, 2004 my text message came across stating that my cellular service has been turned off. I called Sprint only to be told I need to visit a Sprint PCS store to resolve the issue. The store informed that I never paid my bill for August and that was why the phone was turned off so I paid the $147.50. The phone still was not restored. I went home and again call the customer service line for Sprint. There I was informed finally by someone who knew what they were talking about that we were charged roaming and long distance charges for the time my husband was in Bermuda. The total came to $306.77. She gave me her log in ID# and told me that since the plan was not explained to me that she would credit my account and phone service would not be interrupted.
Within 10 days my phone was turned off again. I spoke with another Sprint PCS customer service representative who informed me that a manager would be returning my phone call so that a permanent credit would be given. Within another 10 days my celluar service was turned off once again. I was told again that a manger would call me regarding this matter and that a permanent credit would be given, once again. I even spoke to a man named ED ID# 32056V98 who told my attorney and me that the credit was a permanent one and not a temporary one. Unfortunately that too was a lie.
I have now contacted my Sprint PCS store where my phones were we ornginally got the phones. My attorney would like to see a class action suit again sprint for all of it's misrepentation but no one can seem to give us a person whom to write or file suit with. If any attorney knows whom to start a class action suit, for all of you misrepresented Sprint PCS customers, please contact me.
Anyone thinking of using Sprint please don't. I have been through sprint h*ll and wish no one else would have to go through such a painfull ordeal. Lies and unnecessary fees ect. I really honestly don't think that Sprint really has any managers working for them. They just tell you that to get you off the phone.
