Ron Basara
Coon Rapids,#2REBUTTAL Owner of company

My name is Ron Basara and I am the owner of St. Johns Building Contractors. Apparently the above allegations are being made against me personally. I would like to take a few moments to clarify some things. The information given by Cindy Liss and Jordan West is misleading and incorrect. I will admit that the Liss project was a difficult one and there was not enough money to do what needed to be done. I was not in control of the money and initial payments on this job as I had two other partners at the time. I want to make it very clear that I never at any time stole money from the Liss's. Their allegations are completely inaccurate. I would also like to point out that their remarks about reporting me to the State of Florida, the BBB, Allstate Insurance, the Sheriff, and an attorney have resulted in nothing, thus proving their lack of a viable case. In fact, my license is still current and in good standing with no complaints filed. Next, the information given by Jordan West is equally as false as that of the Liss's. Jordan did not lose his house as a result of me. In fact, Jordan was not even payrolled employee. Despite this fact, St. Johns Building Contractors went above and beyond in compensation for Jordan, including paying for the instruction, materials, testing and state registration for the license he is referring to. He is not owed the money he is claiming, and he knows that. This is a very unfortunate situation and I strongly advise that the Liss's and Jordan remove the statements they claim before this goes any further. Anyone else who would like to discuss this in further detail can feel free to contact me at the following email address: [email protected] Thank You, Ron Basara

To whome it may concern, I am an ex employee of Saint Johns Building and moved down in 2005 to work for them. I was not involved with David and Cindy's contract until about a year after it had been signed. Ron Basara is a con artist and had me working as his sales rep and manager while he was suposidly out of state. When hired by Ron everything seemed normal until my last few months of employment. I understand where David and Cindy are frusterated because they never really even saw Ron he had 3 different project managers on their job to make sure everything was moving along and collecting monies for him. The only problem with that is twords the completion of David and Cindy's job Ron kept all their money that was given to him, left the state and stoped paying me as well. Ron did this on numerous jobs and as soon as I realized what he was doing I immediatly left the company. Ron currently owes me tens of thousands of dollars and stoped paying me months before I left David and Cindy's project. He stated he would pay me next week this went on for a while until I realized I was not the only one not getting payed. After leaving St Johns I tried to contact David and Cindy however they were understanably upset because I was the person they had main contact with and had no idea where Ron spent their money. I hope he gets all he is entilted to as he did not even have the guts to tell me he was not going to pay me he just left the state and turned off all communication I had with him leaving David and Cindy in the dust. Due to this situation I have lost my house due to non-payment by Ron. ALSO, MY LICENSE HAS NEVER BEEN USED! SO IT IS IN NO WAY ATTATCHED TO DAVID AND CINDYS PROJECT OR ANY OTHER SAINT JOHNS PROJECT. I HAVE SPENT THE LAST YEAR AND A HALF GETTING MY LISCENSE AWAY FROM SAINT JOHNS. If David and Cindy would like to contact me they have all my information and I would be happy to help them in any way I can. Jordan West

To whom it may concern: I had worked with Ron Basara at the time of the complaintant's original meeting with St. Johns Building Contractors. I have not worked with that company for years. I (Frank) nor the roofing company listed as License CCC 1326568 have received any money listed on this report. Ron owns St Johns Building Contractors and liability for any work done or lack thereof. Please refrain from currently associating me with this company and also from making false statements about contracts with my license (listed above) on them. Ron's license number is actually CBC1253886. Please address him directly with the issues. If I can help you in any way in your dispute, I believe you have access to my phone number. Please feel free to call me. I would appreciate you also letting people know: I was only involved in the initial meeting with you and your adjuster (which took place several years ago) and that I have had nothing to do with any disputes you may have had since then. Thank you and I hope you are able to resolve the issues and get them to correct any issues. If you need current contact info on them I believe I can find it. Sincerely, Frank
