Simply put this place is a scam. They dont plan anything. She set up chairs the day of our ceremony. We had to do everything ourselves. Carla Pryor was rude, unproffessional and un organized. NO ONE knew what was going on the day of the wedding. WE had to make sure everything went smooth. She didnt introduce herself before the day of the wedding. Wouldnt call she would only email or text. We paid her for.. Well Im not sure what I paid her for. She scams wedding couples out of money. She said all she was to do is offer recomendations.. Well she didnt really do that. we had to rely on her for things that frankly didnt happen. I state again we paid her for things that in the end.. WE had to do. As my bride was about to walk down the isle is when she introduced herself to my bride and her mother. and then was rude to my bride and mother in law!!! like are you kidding me?? Carla Pryor has a "business" that is a scam! she gets by with other couples who just assume she is doing "okay" when in reality she didnt do squat! Would never reccomend Carla pryor at St simons elopements. We are a professional couple and we were LESS than impressed. I urge you to make other arrangements than going with this "business". I'm sorry that you were not satisfied with the wedding pkg you chose. When we spoke a month or so ago, & you mentioned cancelling your wedding with me, I had an idea you were going to be unhappy no matter what I did. I still did my best for you. When you asked to make weekly pymts, I agreed because I wanted to help you. I gave you extra rentals that I never charged you for, & did my best to keep your expenses down. The guitarist, chair rentals, delivery, & florals were hard costs and were the bulk of your costs with me. I'm sorry you felt they were so expensive, but I don't mark those things up. I provided you five extra chairs and the chalk board rental for free because I sympathized with your situation. Regarding my planning services, I wasn't hired for planning, but for a set up package and recommendations only. I found you a free venue, recommended hotels, provided florals, musician, the set up & take down, & the restaurant for your reception. Your total spend with my company was $1,289 & all items & costs were disclosed on your signed contract. My full planning services are $2,400, & don't include any amenities, so I don't understand why you're upset. I was in contact with you and the bride via text numerous times on your wedding day and leading up to the ceremony.
Regarding being rude to your MIL, that is completely untrue. Weddings are a happy and joyous event for me, & I'm always excited about them. When I introduced myself to your MIL, she was in a bad mood & I assumed there had been an argument with bride & mom. My job is to diffuse emotional tension. I did not & would never have cross words to ruin a wedding day.
You have slandered my name with false accusations & no validity. This is very hurtful, as I went over and beyond to help you.
Having hundreds of weddings and happy couples indicates that this is an exception.
