Starcar International Refused refund and lied about vehicle condition. Pompano Beach, Florida
Put a $500 dollar down payment with Paypal on 2004 Ford Focus SVT sold by this dealer. Traveled all the way to florida (Im from Tennessee) to pick up the item and the car didn't run right. It had a miss and leaked oil as well as had a loud grinding noise at 3000 rpm's. The seller lied about the history of the vehicle at first and said the exhaust was factory and the car had no problems (GOT ALL THE EMAILS TO PROVE THIS).
After test drive one of the sellers told us the car was blowing oil everywhere when they first got it. And the exhaust was completely modified despite the owner saying it was stock. The mechanic that supposedly was the dealer mechanic tried to lie about the noise and say that it was the exhaust rubbing which is impossible. I have all the videos and recordings of the mechanic and the sound of the car. The seller is now refusing to refund my $500 deposit. This is the link to the misleading description of the car.
