Status Creating Rolling Art Body shop no service after sale, defective work Rockwall, Texas
My auto was painted at Status in Rockwall Texas for approximately $5000.00. After finding a flaw in the hood it took them a month to fix it. When I got it back the underside of the hood was scratched up badly, the passenger window tint was scratched up, my new center console was also badly scratched up during the initial paint. They denied it all.
9 months later a bubble appeared where the flaw on the hood used to be. "Spot" told me its probably a contamination under the paint and they didnt go all the way down to the surface. I stated on the bill we paid $500 extra to have them soda blast it to the surface as they suggested.
Spot then stated that we signed a paper voiding any warranty. I explained to him that i have that paperwork and that is the only paperwork we 'did not' sign.
He tells me continuously that he will call me back, or that he will have the owner call me. after several attempts I gave up (as he was hoping) and had another body shop take care of it.
This is a daily driver show car and I had several others I had planned on getting restored possibly by Status. Not any more! They got two trips in one out of me. My first and my last!
