I had a student who was in need of glasses. After several weeks and a run-a-round about getting an eye exam and having to go to Auburn, NY to process the order to get the glasses, after the exam, his mother was most furstrated. We went to see what the problem was and still could not resolve it. I found the manager to be must uncoopertive and not clear on how to resolve the problem of getting my student glasses.
The mother and I decided that we were getting the run-a- round and that the perscription could be filled elsewhere. We went to a competitor and had the students glasses in less that two hours. The staff there understood the situation and how to get results. Less that two hours including waiting over one half hour for the perscription to be faxed from Sterling.
While waiting we had a very nice lunch in the mall and discussed the students good fortunate to have been accepted in a special Saturday study program.
I found that I can have my glasses done under my insurance, so plan to do so next week. I'm glad that Competition is still alive and well in this country.
