I was hired with no painting experience and worked one part-time day, four hours. Our "manager" Ryan Beckley talked to us for 30 minutes (if that) and tried to give examples of how to paint. Then, he left. We painted for our four hours, had to move the ladder on our own (we're 20 year Old women), and were left with no water or short breaks. Once We needed to change our schedule (due to our second job), he became unprofessional. He wasn't replying to our texts; he said he would call and wouldn't, and then fired us in a text message. He refused to pay us for the first day, claiming it was a "training day." However, all the other painters got paid for their training day. It's all a scam. He never had us fill out any paperwork and left us unsupervised and dehydrated on our first day.
