Suburban Propane -1564 Charged excessive per gallon price of $6.3991 for propane delivery Cape Cora Florida
Today, November 15, 2014, the Suburban Truck came and checked my 200 gallon underground leased tank. I was present. The driver said you are 65% full, might as well top it off to 80 since I am here anyway. I said okay.
He filled up 32.4 gallons and left a bill. I checked the bill and found out that I was chareged $6.3991 per gallon, for a total price of $217.90. I subsequently checked todays prices in Lee County for the per gallon price of propane on the internet and found it to be 2.39. That is a $4 per gallon overcharge.
I also noticed that the company has been doing it all over the country and that there are many class action law suits filed against this company for price gauging. I would be interested to know if there are other residents in Lee County having the same problem with Suburban Propane.
