On 9/15/2008 I placed an order for Indian human weaving-hair extensions on the sultryhair.com website. I ordered two packs of hair for $293.00 and paid additional for expedited shipping. My card was processed and charged instantly. About 24 hours from the time I placed the order I received product conformation. Following the product confirmation, I received an e-mail that the product was on back order and it would be shipped within 7 business days. The notification that the product was on back order was AFTER I placed the order; additionally there was no indication that the product was on back order.

I contacted Sultry Hair several times the next morning, and the days following, via their off-line chat system and telephone number; my calls went unanswered for numerous days. Finally "Maria" called me back, upset that I had called 3 times. She was very rude, hostile, and confrontational as she made it poignantly clear that it was not Sultryhair.com's responsibility to inform the customer when a product is out of stock. She directed me the company's out of stock policy, which conveniently neglects to inform the customer that the product may be out of stock when ordering, leaving the customer to take their chances.

After Maria in customer service hung up the phone, SHE CALLED ME AGAIN later that evening to harass me further about my fault in the purchase while also making mention my of personal affairs, family and husband. She was CRAZY! I was so upset, offended, and I felt as if this company's main purpose is to deceive and the consumer. Moreover Aurora Naverez and Maria have a reckless disregard for customer service. I was in such disbelief as to the services I received, I went to the web (google.com) to see if I was the only person who experienced this type of service and or harassment. I found no less than 97 complaints detailing similar incidents. This company needs to be investigated, this is cannot continue.
