Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Sun-Tec is nothing but a front for ISPC The real product is not the cheap Chinese solar Hot water heaters, or the cheap insulation, or inferior solar pool heaters... the real product is a userous finance contract from the worst consumer finance company on earth ISPC. One second late and your fiance rate triples. They manipulate the consumer laws and float just a hair below the law. When you complain that 99.9% of your monthly payment goes to the finance charges they will tell you your over 21 and you signed the contract!!!!!!  Do not sign the finance contract, it is the most manipulative legal document you will ever be rushed to sign.

The solar hot water heaters can be purchased from a legitimate solar energy company for around $1,800.00 If you are foolish enough or once tricked into signing the Sun-Tec sales agreement you will pay over $6,790.00 for a solar hot water heater, and you will pay on the userous finance contract for the rest of your adult life and still have a huge balance due. We did not save 10 cents off our electric bill, and we did not owe any taxes so the tax credit is worthless and the 30% saving off electric bills is a huge lie, lies, lies, lies

The telemarketing boiler room in Clearwater is staffed with drug addicts and felons, every one of them is a pathological lier and they are compensated by saying whatever they feel they need to to get you to accept an appointment with the biggest liers of all: the desperate salesman, trained in Clearwater to sell you the finance contract, and push the tremendously overpriced inferior solar products with every high pressure sales trick known to man, and when/if trickery doesn't work, the lies will follow. Do not allow the sales reps into your home, not one is screened for background checks and most are convicted felons. The biggest thief of all is the gang leader himself, the PRESIDENT OF Sun-Tec:  Heng Phu I suspect he is a feared member of a famous Chinese gang know as the "Tongs". It is known that they have penetrated businesses throughout the U.S., where they prey on unsuspecting US consumers.  I plan to check with Interpol to see if he is wanted in the orient, or if his fraudulant sales techniques, and consumer fraud crimes are  limited to the U.S.

Caveat Emptor= BUYER BEWARE  Do not do buisiness with Sun-Tec Solar Energy  a/k/a/ ISPC

In Florida any business that sells something with a finance contract has to be licensed by the state with a Retail Installment Sellers License (Chapter 520 Part II) Sun - Tec (legal name LSCI Inc) does not have this license. Nor does its owners: David Larkin or Heng Phu. Under Florida law, the company must be licensed, the owners, and ANY salesperson who represents the sale with a finance contract must carry a license. This license is issued by the Florida Office of Finance Regulation. It requires Fingerprints, Background check, and fees. It invites the government into the life of the licensee. They can look at the licensee's business or personal bank accounts ANYTIME without permission. They can supervise the individual with scrutiny if there is any complaint. The IRS LOVES this license and any applicant who holds this license.

Most of the companies (or sales people) using the ISPC financing will probably not qualify for this license.

To read the FL. ST. you can go here:http://www.flofr.com/staticpages/retailinstallmentsales.htm#ApplicationRequirements

For example, to file a complaint against Heng Phu with the state for not having the license and operating illegally, you could go here: https://www.myfloridalicense.com/LicenseDetail.asp?SID=&id=4147269E7EA88480389E62D357AC9B79

The ISPC (The Independent Savings Plan Company - Owned by: The Levers Edge) company was recently the defendant in a class action lawsuit. That case is under appeal now (they report they won the case which is untrue). The attorney who brought the class action is now suing the ISPC company again (Orange County, FL. Case No. 2014-CA-006387-O). The attorney's phone number is listed in the public record online when you look the case up on the orange county website (http://myclerk.myorangeclerk.com/default.aspx).

The Florida Bar website is a great place to find information. For example this article tells how finance companies are legally responsible for the actions of companies using their financing: https://www.floridabar.org/divcom/jn/jnjournal01.nsf/Author/0FA9413D1895110985257AA60048CB19

Florida Appelate Court Ruled:

Prior to the passage of the FTC Holder Rule, many consumers were caught in a “no win” situation when the seller failed to remedy the defect either because of its unwillingness or its disappearance from the market. The institutional lenders then took advantage of protections under the holder in due course doctrine when the consumer sought to assert seller misconduct as a defense to the predator’s suit for payment on the note. The rule is expressly designed to compel creditors to either absorb seller misconduct or seek reimbursement of those costs from sellers.

If you have been wronged by this company or any other company, don't let them get away with it.
