I recd a call from a marketing company promoting Super Savings Today, promising $300 in gas and a $100 Walmart gift card. The caller said this would cost me nothing. Within a week from the call, there were several deductions for the same amount taken from my checking account that I did not authorize. When calling Super Savings Today, they said the authorizations were recorded by the marketing company yet refused to provide me the name of the marketing and said they did not have a recording yet the company they used has to record to do so.

I was then told to go on a website which I did yet it only brought you to a site where you had to apply for 30 different products in exchange for $10 gas vouchers. I called Super Savings Today and was told for weeks that the website was not working properly as the access number will bypass the offers bring you straight to the $300 gas card and $100 Walmart gift card. I kept trying and to date, over 4 months later, still nothing.

I called a final time today (05/27/09) and was given a new access number with pin to obtain these "free" items from and the site all was now being told that bypassing the 30 offers for the $10 gas vouchers was never an option rather individuals had to work up each offer to get what the $300 in gas and he did not seem to know anything about a Walmart gift card. I am now out over $60.00 and without what was promised.

Hi jennifer I am a customer service manager for Super Savings Today. We are very sorry to learn that you were not satisfied with our services. We would like to address your concerns and the issues you have stated: $300 Gas Vouchers: When you were contacted by an independent telemarketing agency with our offer to try our services for a risk-free 7-day trial, you were offered $300 in redeemable gas vouchers as a gift. These vouchers are redeemable in $10 increments, at the rate of one voucher per month up to the stated $300. You were given an access number and pin code to redeem the vouchers. We apologize for the inconvenience of our website not functioning properly or to your liking at the time you attempted to redeem your vouchers. But as with any website, technical issues can arise, from unexpected service interruptions to routine updating of website content. Without knowing the exact time of your attempt, we cannot accurately pinpoint what may have been occurred. $100 Walmart Gift Card: Our service is one of several services and products offered by various companies other than ourselves by the telemarketing agency during their call. While we do offer avenues for our customers to receive up to 40% cash back savings through their online purchases at various retailers, our program does not offer any gift card or gift certificates to Walmart or any other retailer. $60 Unauthorized Charges: Before we issue any charges or fees for our services, we obtain recorded verbal consent and authorization for all said fees or charges. In turn, this recording is verified for consent by an independent third party quality control company before it is submitted to us for processing of an order. If there is not clear consent given to our services, a customer is deemed invalid and not charged or processed. As stated earlier regarding the gift card, ours is one of many services offered on the sales call you received. While our records show you were charged $4.95 for the shipping and handling of your 7-day trial materials which you did give verbal consent and authorization to, no further charges were submitted, as you did cancel during the trial period. With the limited information we have regarding what you did or didn't authorize regarding the other products or services not pertaining to our company, all we can assume is that the $60 in charges were for one of the other products or services from one of the other companies. None of our fees or charges, individually or collectively, amount to $60. Again, we do apologize for the inconviences you experienced with the gas voucher redemption process, and hope this satisfactorily addresses your other concerns. Sincerely: Super Savings Today
