Swapngreen offers the service of buying your used Smartphones and pesonal electronic devices. You complete an online form on their website, which features a reimbursement calculation tool. They mail you a return envelope. You send them your device and pray that you will send a reimbursement check.
I should have known from the think paper envelope that they sent was an omen. The Motorola Droid plus equipment would not fit into the envelope, even when taken out of the original box. There was no padding to protect the device, and the postage was applied using an insufficient amount of postage, using First Class postage stamps.
I sent it in anyway, after purchasing a bubble pack and Significant Confirmation, after they agreed by email to add the postage cost to my refund. The phone itself was sent with a fully charged battery and the original box and plastic glass protection wrap. I even took photos of the mail envelopes, my phone, accessories and box.
After a few weeks, I emailed the company, because there is no phone number listed. Although I did find out who the owner online and eventually by Facebook. I got no responses, then vague responses when I finally threatened to take him to Small Claims courts.
He basically laughed it off, stating that I was "a bother".
