It's not too much to ask for a customer to provide a copy of the check cashed, front and back, as proof. Nor is it a ripoff to do so. Have you ever worked in an office where literally thousands of checks are coming in? It's very easy to lose a check from its order. In fact, where I worked for 12 years, the mail was opened, checks stamped with an endorsement stamp, payment amount noted on order form, and then the two parted ways forever and ever. Until the customer has provided proof, and STILL gotten no satisfaction or product, you are wrong to post it as a ripoff. HUMANS work there, we all make mistakes. Give the company a break.
