Recently, I received vouchers to be used as discounts on certain items. I sent in a voucher supposedly worth $400.00 for a Dell Notebook along with a personal check for $379.95.
The Notebook arrived without any paperwork or instructions. I phoned their customer support and was transferred from one dept. to another for a total of two hours. Nobody could answer my technical question so I decided to ship it back.
They claim that if customer is not satisfied, simply return the item within 30 days for a full refund. They shipped it to me using United Parcel Service. I shipped it back to them in the same carton, UPS + insurance for less than $20.00. In return, they sent me a refund check for $310.39. (A difference of $69.56 they claim was used for "shipping & handling.") This is outrageous. I had the Notebook for only a few hours.
Subsequently, I learned from Dell that the Notebook they sent me is outdated.
Don't be sucked in by their vouchers. Sweepstakes Clearinghouse profits at the consumer's expense. It doesn't matter if you keep your inferior product or not, they will still rob you. This company should swiftly be put out of business.
