I was offered a trial magazine subscription after making a purchase from a music/movies store that I frequent. Two free months of 3 different magazines which I began to receive. One month later, I saw a charge on my checking account of $11.99, with it being titled " recurring debit card including the store name.
That charge posted to my account 11/14/16. The card they sent in the mail said I had until 12/12/16 to call 800.586.9312, and discontinue service. Very angry, I called to inquire about the charge and discontinue (cancel) magazines. just keep hitting 000 on your phone to get to a real person.
After having an intelligent conversation with the "representative", he said he did not see any charges to my bank account. I told him I don't CARE what he sees! I told him to cancel my subscription, and refund my money! This call was being recorded for quality purposes. Yeah.
He said he would turn this over to " customer service", and said they would call me regarding this issue. He would not give me a number for me to call myself. So, I'll just wait for this unethical company to call me, and gladly refund my money, and apologize for this inconvenience. Right. Fight on!
