Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
How do you begin such a lack of communication. After my divorce in 1996 I was not able to pay for my manufactured home, so I contacted the mortgage company Oakwood Moblie Home (by the way, who is no longer in business) and made arrangements to sell the home through them to an interested buyer. I drove to Austin, Tx. to sign all the papers necessary to start the needed selling process, be reminded there is no buyer yet. I was surpose to get a call that I was to return to sign more documents when a buyer was found. Months pass, and I called to find out that the sell was done and I was no longer responsible for the mortgage so I was told, and thought. It is now 11 years later and I recieved a call from Vanderbilit Home Mortgage Co. I called them back because a message was left on my phones answering machine. When I called them back with the reference number and information giving it to the person on the other end of the line, which varied all the times that I called from male to female, had no record of an account in my name or of the one on the answering machine. Then I recieved a letter from Synergetic Communications, Inc. A Ms. Daphne Toliver was on the other end of the line and was telling me that I owed 36 thousand dollars for a forclosure that took place in 2005. Now please note: that I stated that I was not a home owner in 2005. I bought me a new one in 2006 so, I have to have had and an income that would govern two homes, which I don't. and if I had a forclosure in Dec 2005 as she stated that means that Wells Fargo Mortgage Company would have seen that on my credit and not offered me the loan for my new home which I currently reside.

And that's just the beginning, She also goes on to tell me that they would settle this for 10 percent. Well, I respectfully asked for the documents that she currently possess, for it has been over 10 years and any good record keeper desposes of documents after 5-10 yrs depending on the document. She asked me if I had a fax, and I told her no which I don't. So she said "It will take up to 30 days to send me the documents I requested. Now, my question is how can she be so willing to fax me the documents right away but now it will take up to 30 days to send the same documents through the mail? Sounded like messy mess to me. I also told her that I would be sending a letter disputing this debt. The reason is simple, If I owed this it took entirely to long for anyone to contact me concerning this debt and that Oakwood Mortgage Co. did not do what they were obligated to do and send me record of the sale .......oh yea, Ms. Toliver said it was an assumption loan, and that would mean that I would be obligated to mortgage company. So like any other person that runs a business I should have been given notices of the deliquencies as they progressed. And since the person that bought the home has filed bankruptcy...E.Adair.. they are coming after me. If my name was part of a big ticket item, such as a home or car, the company that was having problems collecting their money would have or should have sent me something...2 years....come on.
