I took my family out to eat a fairly new restaurant in town Thursday Night (July 20).

After we ordered the Kid's food and my Mother - In - Law ordered hers my wife decided she wanted the "Steak and Ribs" platter and I ordered the "T Max 16oz. Ribeye.

Normally when I order steak, I order it Medium Well and tell the waitress that I want very little pink in the meat. When I do this, the steak usually comes just like I want it.

This time however the steak came out to me almost raw. So I sent it back, and again it came back bloody and almost raw. I guess the cook didn't know how to turn the broilers on or he/she was too lazy to watch the steak and cook it properly.

My wife's order was the most disgusting tasting ribs I have ever eaten in my life.

Her steak was supposed to be 4oz and when her plate came, her steak looked like a piece of charcoal. The ribs were burned beyond recognition and the taste was horrible.

I got the waitresses attention, and asked her to take my wife's food back and fix it again. I told her I wasn't going to pay $15.00 + for this. She took it back and brought my wife a baked potato to eat while she waiting on her food. The idea of baking a potato must have escaped this cook or this person missed that day in cooking class.

The potato was almost raw; it felt like it had been in the Microwave for about 45 seconds.

So now fast forward to tonight (July 22) I happen to be in the neighborhood so I call to see if the owner was around so that I could speak to him about this meal we spent $67.45 for and couldn't eat. When I reached him by phone he told me to come right over and we'd settle it. I wasn't looking for much, just my money back.

His idea of restitution was giving me and my wife a cup of soup. That's right 1 Cup Of Soup.

I explained to him that neither I nor anyone we know will ever eat there again. He then told to leave his property or he would call the police.
