I have been a satisfied customer t Tag ALong Tag Sales since 1983. As such I have total familiarity with both Hesta and Ann-Marie...and no other personal or professional connection with them. They are the premier Tag Sale company in Westchester, bar none. After reading this flabbergasting and outrageous Rip Off Report from an unknown complainant, I can only conclude it is from a competitor or someone with an ax to grind.
This company and its management is totally ethical and honest, and personally friendly and accommodating. Anyone can have an off day, of course, but if you check them out on other websites and BBB, you will find that -- save for this questionable report -- they get high marks. I would have no compunction about hiring them to do my own tag or estate sale, nor patronizing others that they are hosting.
This complainant even qualifies remarks with "I was told that"! When one has a tag sale, it is possible that there could be damage to the premises by customers, but I know that Tag Along works with helpers who have a lot of experience doing these sales and -- in my 34 years of experience attending their sales -- damage is usually an exception. They also leave the premises clean and offer complete cleanout services, donating what doesn't sell to local charities if the owner agrees. If something was sold that was supposed to be excluded, it should not have been left out. Everything they sell has a price tabg on it to avoid such confusion...nevertheless any tag sale has the potential of that if the item is left in the public view. This is not a rip-off and when you hire such a company you sign an agreement authorising them to sell everything that isn't in a roped off room. Sounds like a misunderstanding at best. But I think the scammers are the complainants!
