I bought a GPS system over the Boxing Day week sales, it was a re-pack so it was discounted. The unit that I saw and thought I bought was on display and working fine. I took the GPS home and read instructions, it said to charge for 20 minutes to get at 3 GPS satillites to find the unit.

After charging for 4 yes 4 days my unit still had the same intial screen on it and it was also missing the sticky part to attach to the window. I brought the system complte with the bao and warranty to the front counter at the store and told the lady about it. I asked if I can just exchange the unit for 1 that is in the video dept that I can from here or even just get the sticky part, or a refund. The counter lady asked if I had contacted customer service and I said no who are you? .

She gave me the phone to call customer service and after explianing what I want she also said she is unable to help and aske me to call LG direct during busineess hours. as that is who the warranty is under. I checked the reciept and no where does it say contact LG direct for problems, I asked if I can get a refund and she said no deal with LG direct. I lost it told them it does not fit down the toiletwhere it belongs and walked out leaving the GPS there as it does not work for me anyways and with out help for anybody else.

So I am out 4100.00 because of the sale and will not deal with teppermans agin once I pay off my current account. You can only pass the buck so many times till you start losing customers, yes I was a repaeat customer and by public job will not be saying good things about them when I return to work

Dear Ken: Thank you for your letter. Fortunately, you shared enough information that I believe I have been able to find your purchase information. It appears that your GPS issue has been resolved for some time now. I show that you returned the GPS on Jan. 9th, 2009 and that the $20.00 deposit you made on the GPS has been applied to your open account. That being said, I will certainly be giving you a call within the next few days to follow up on this issue. Sincerely, Noah Tepperman
