Terra D. Lee attorney at law is a criminal. I met with him to just have him draw up some legal papers to file for a probate matter that was all I wanted. I did not want representation, just simple court document preparation for filing of a probate accounting matter. I gave him $300. From then on he wanted to consult with me via the telephone which never happened because we would always miss the phone call and he was never available. When I did call in to speak with him I had to make another telephone appointment a week or more in advance that once again never would happen for one reason or another. Either he was in court or for some other reason we were unable to communicate.

After three months of this I finally made an in person appointment to find out what was happening with my paperwork at which time he stated he needed another $300 which I gave him thinking that would be all that was needed to get the requested paperwork. After waiting another month and the same telephone tag game I filed a complaint with the Bar Association. After waiting another month I get a bill from Mr. Lee for $600 for two in office consultations of an hour a piece(we talked less than an hour both interviews combined) plus numerous telephone "consultation" charges for which there was generously "No Charge". Talk about taking someone's money and doing nothing. This guy is the reason lawyers get such a bad rap. I am not trying to defend them but its all true. They are snakes in the grass and prey upon the public that for most people have little to no contact with an attorney in their lifetime. There are some good ones and when I find one I keep them. How often in life does the average person need a probate lawyer? Not too often and this guy is one of the worst. If you are considering having anything to do with this guy then my advice is to "Run as fast as you can" cuz this guy is a thief and should be dis-barred.
