I just purchased a new Tesla Model 3. The vehicle is supposed to get 250 Mile range. I drove from Cocoa Beach to Orlando, and made 2 stops. The cars range was closer to 150 miles.
the air conditioner was on, auto pilot, radio, and highway driving was around 79 mph.
I spoke to service and the service manager who indicated in order to get the range, AC must be set closer to 72 degrees, mph should be closer to 55 (below the speed limit), otherwise the range drops significantly. Nowhere in their marketing materials do they disclose this information. It seems ridiculous that I can drive a $55,000 vehicle to Disney and back without recharging.
