The Animal House - Diane M. McInnes Sold my husband and I a sick puppy and lied about registration papers Bryan Texas
I found Diane McInnes' add in the Houston paper, I am from San Antonio, Tx. and I was trying to find a female Maltese puppy. I called her and she agreeded to meet my husband and I part of the way from Bryan to San Antonio, Tx and bring the puppy. I should have been smarter when I first saw her. Diane was very dirty, she had terrible BO, her car was dirty and the puppy was dirty, even though she was a cute dog.
She told us a lie about how she was selling the dog for a friend and when she had sent in the wrong female papers to register the puppy and just had to get the correct papers showing correct DNA from her friend in order to register the puppy and she would mail us the papers. The maltese puppy had pink around her eyes and normally the rim of their eyes is black, when I asked about this she told me that it will turn black later.
Me being stupid and not totally researched this and not knowing enough about Maltese, believed her, which I found out from my Vet the next day was not true. When we took the puppy in she had mange mites, ear mites, and kennel cough. Dianne claimed that the puppy had eaten some newspaper on the drive there and that is why she was coughing, she claimed she had never heard the puppy cough before.
After reading all these rip-off reports I now know my puppy probably never got any shots, even though she lied and said the puppy had received 2 series of shots. When we called and asked for her Vet's name and proof of the shots she would not give us this information.
I feel like a total fool after reading all of these rip-off reports on her. I do not know why I did not do research on her before purchasing the puppy. Our puppy now is doing ok, as far as we know....many Vet visits and medications later. But this woman is a total disgrace to the human race. I am glad I got my little puppy away from this awful person. Something needs to be done to put her out of business. I am planning on contacting the Animal Cruelty in Bryan, Texas and let them know she is still selling puppies. What a shame that poor defenseless animals find their way into this woman's house.

I was so angry when I wrote my earlier report I realized I left out several things I wanted to mention. After reading a report on here from a Kim, I wanted to add that the same thing happened to use concerning the registration papers. As I stated earlier, Diane told us when she tried to register the litter there was a mistake with the mother of the puppy's DNA and she would get the correct papers and re-file and send us the registeration. She also, as Kim stated, had me address an envelope to myself in which she would mail us the registration papers. We, of course, have never received any papers. And when we tried to contact her about our puppy's health, we were never able to get reach her. My Vet told me she needed to be informed about the mange mites, if she was a breeder. Reading all these reports about people purchasing puppies from her in Canton, I remember one of the conversations I had with her before I purchased my puppy and she told me "don't ever buy a dog from a place like Canton, the dogs there are not healthy and most come from puppy farms". She claimed to me she had never been there and sold puppies there, she even preceded to talk about people who she knew who went there and knowingly sold sick dogs. It is just so hard to believe. I cannot believe I did not research this woman before I went and bought a dog from her. I love my puppy and hopefully she is fine now. But this woman is a rip-off artist and I hope no one else will purchase a dog from her again. I can only hope the Bryan Animal Control will shut her down.
