Man ( Greg Trevino) came down my driveway ( in a black truck ) and gave me his card saying they do fence clearing and land clearing if I need someone. Next day I called the number. Got a recording. Stated what I was needing done at my house. A man came to talk to me. To my surprise it was a neighbors son ( Leanord Trevino ) drives a red dully. His family has lived on my street for 30 yrs. So I trusted him.
He gave me a quote of 725.00 to clear a fence line and clear an area of some vines and weeds and haul off. We talked for a long time and I told him exactly what I wanted. The area was to be cleared all the way down to ground. He said he had two workers.
He showed up the next day with his little son to help. He ask for 200.00 down. He cleared fence line but then came in and said he broke saw and ask for another 200.00. Since I knew him ( Leonard-Leo Trevino) I gave it to him.
Later that night he showed me what he had done and told me all he had to do was rake the area where the weeds were and come back Sun and pick up branches because it had gotten dark.
He wanted rest of the 325.00. I told him I would rather wait un til Sun when he got through but convenienced me to pay rest. He never showed up again.
I text him and told him I was unhappy with his work and if he didnt come back I would file a suit against him. He promised to come back three different days but never showed up.
The bad thing about this is he drives up and down my street and just looks and I am sure laughs! I feel he owes me at least 200.00 back for a job undone.
So do not let him sweet tak you with all these promises because they will steal from you too!!
