February of 2007 I purchase a miniature bulldog through The Bulldog Exchange. After I received my puppy I was in the vet's office at least once a week. She has had giardia, coccidia, cherry eye, umbilical hernia, generalized demodex, and a luxating patella.

Most of these items are not covered in the one year guarantee.

However, the generalized demodex is covered in her one year guarantee. I notified Stacey from The Bulldog Exchange once my puppy (Layla) was diagnosed. I fax all the test results as well as the cost for the treatments. The overall cost of the treatments was over $700. I have kept the Bulldog exchanged well informed with faxes and e-mail of Layla's treatments. They refuse to recognize that this cost should be coved by there company. They have ignored my calls and refuse to reimburse me of this cost. After I notified Stacey, the one year guarantee was revised on there website deleting the generalized demodex covered by the guarantee.

Not only did the Bulldog exchange not stand behind there Guarantee, but there company states that they are an MBCOA (miniature bulldog club of America) certified breeder. Interestingly enough, the MBCOA is the same company as The Bulldog Exchange as well as the other breeder referrals on the MBCOA website. One person has created all the breeder websites as well as the organization. So of course they say that they have certified miniature bulldogs when they are the ones providing the certification. This company and organization needs to be shut down.
