I and about 60 othe members canceled training at The Complex Training Center which was formally called Chameleon Elite Training Center and formally before that Chameleon MMA or Jacksonville Mixed Martial Arts. When you cancel they refuse to let you out of their contract even after it is clearly voided. They will then continue to charge your credit card regardless of you calling the bank, filling out MULTIPLE cancelation forms, talk to owners on phone (since they apparently somehow live in California).
These guys are interested in just stealing your money. I saw that the location is even up for sale so it looks like they are just trying to cut their losses, piss everyone off who left and just keep charging them until they switch bank accounts or totally cancel their cards. It is a HUGE scam where they STEAL your money. DO NOT SIGN ANY CONTRACT WITH ANY OF THESE GUYS AT THIS GYM! They lie to you and still charge you no matter what the contract says. They try to temp you into a small fee per month and then you screwed forever or until you change bank account info.
Every month they try to charge my account and i get MULTIPLE harrassing phone calls from people named kyle, aj, other instructors and some girl who probably works with the company next door since that is apparently where they charge you...even though it isn't an ACCOUNTING FIRM! it is a pipe line company. These guys don't know what they are doing and me and over 60 other people were FORCED to change bank accounts or get in huge arguments with owners and current insturctors.
Did i mention that they also make you sign to train with certain instructors and then switch them out like 4 times in less than 6 months. This place is just evil and no good. Look at the name. They have a COMPLEX of stealing. If you are desperate to train at a place that JUST LOOKS PRETTY because of money put into it but has no REAL skill and definitly NO MORALS and ETHICS then maybe The Complex Training Center is best for you. For me, I am done with these guys. Go elsewhere if you want to actually learn something and not worry about being robbed at same time.
Super aggrivated with this whole situation. Way to risky to give your credit card info or even pay as you go. You will deal with crap forever. Totally NOT worth the pretty building and equipment. I rather have honesty and integrity and PEACE OF MIND when training somewhere

We have canceled with this mixed martial arts gym in Jacksonville, Florida multiple times and I just found out since writing my original letter that The Complex Training Center not only called me but also at least 3 other people who just complained to me that they had to CHANGE THERE BANK ACCOUNT information so that this corrupt martial arts school or fitness center or whatever it is now can't keep trying to charge them.
The Complex Training Center is just bad news. No need to argue. I changed my bank account information. This place just doesn't feel like home any more since the multiple insturctor changes and it just attracts a thug like group of people now who just want to fill their own egos. NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY AT ALL! It's so childish and unprofessional I can't even understand how they are still even in business.

This is a completely false report.
The gym has been solely owned and poorly managed by the gym's assigned management team for the past 4 years. The owner recently (December 22, 2013) brought in two professionals (Joe "Hybrid" Duarte ww.twitter.com/joeduartemma and his business partner AJ Zayas) of the MMA industry from San Diego to help evaluate his gyms poor performance.
After careful consideration, a partnership with Duarte, and Zayas was established, and the gym reopened its doors as "The Complex Training Center" on January 6, 2014.
No decisions during these transitions have been taken lightly, and contact with members was consistentely maintained via email and the gym's social media (facebook.com/thecomplextrainingcenter), which has consistentely had a large amount of positive responses regarding the changes.
For any members that were unhappy with the internal changes, their contracts were terminated early with 30 days notice.
With the poor daily operations, and low quality trainers previousely in the gym, Joe Duarte made it a point to take care of the MMA industry in Jacksonville, FL. and found two avid high level professionals (2012 & 2013 IBJJF World Champ "Fred Leavy", and Mixed Martial Arts striking coach "Cosmoe Cala") that relocated from San Diego, Ca. to Jacksonville. "Cosmoe Cala", is striking coach to professional mixed martial artist, such as, #1 Female Fighter Cris "Cyborg" Santos, and KJ Noons.
With that, we ask that proof be furnished about statements made to RipoffReport.com, from the reportee, and ask for the removal of this report from your website.
