Had a lovely time with my daughter at The Factory. Spent an hour or so having our hair and make up done. Offered drinks and accepted water and several glasses of bubbly which was very drinkable. We wanted some good individual and together shots. We had brought way too many clothes with us but narrowed it down to 4 changes. Patrick, the photographer was a great guy and we were charmed by him and his 'tea-cup' chihuahua - Bonny. Patrick made us feel very comfortable and gave us easy to follow direction. We had lots of different backdrops and props and lighting. He was very respectful and always left us when we were changing from one outfit to another. He had endless patience and spent over 2 hours with us. His own portfolio is impressive and we recognised some of his recent work. After a short break of about 15 mins we were invited into the editing room by Max. A quiet, smiley chap who gently worked with us to edit down what had been over 200 images to the final 10 that we loved. This took an hour but the time went so quickly and it was fun narrowing down our selection. We did not require any digital editing as Pat had done such a great job in the studio. We opted to have the final images emailed to us and burnt to a CD to take away. Neither of us had been on a shoot like this before and we really enjoyed our day and are very, very pleased with the results. Any down sides? The Factory in on the top floor, up four flights of stairs, hard work with our heavy suitcase but that was our fault - too many choices of clothes. Thank you Pat and Max. PS anyone who expects something for nothing will always be disappointed.
