The Greatest Vitamin In The World separates you from your hard-earned money with high-pressure sales tactics. Phoenix Arizona
I awoke early one morning to the TV blaring on - it was this very excited guy named Don Lapre talking about a way to make money by "paying ONLY $35 for your very own website and we will send thousands of people to your website to buy The Greatest Vitamin in the World." Well, it sounded good to me but by the time I got off the phone I had purchased a website, starter kit (some flyers and 3 CDs), a bottle of vitamins and a book for nearly $200.
Not long after that, the phone calls started. There were so many different names and numbers on my answering machine it was hard to keep them straight. The few I called back were proficient at high-presurre sales tactics and I spent hundreds of dollars more to get this or that (co-ops sent to my website, guaranteed traffic, premium website, products added to the website, the Platinum Plan, my very own 800 number, etc) after listening to tapes of Don Lapre doing this or that and finally I decided enough is enough.
After doing some research (which I should have done BEFORE my first phone call but who's fully conscious at 3 AM?) I found out what other people have experienced. I'm taking action to get the charges disputed on my credit card and want to warn others about this dubious "business opportunity".
Stay as far away from Don Lapre and his ilk as you can!
