The Grocery Game unable to cancel membership because of website issues and customer service impossible to reach Internet, Internet
I joined the Grocery Game in 2008. It used to be a good service and was worth the $10.00 charge every 12 weeks, (it is now $10 every eight weeks...I guess there's no accounting for greed). Anyway, they implemented a new website and it is simply full of bugs, slow, very cluttered, and simply poorly designed. I decided to cancel my membership and surprise!!! The "Cancel Mmembership" functionality is NOT working, (like MANY other modules and links on the site). So I thought I would try to contact customer service and get the problem resolved. Surprise again!!! NO PHONE number, of course, (what else would you expect from a company who just wants to collect your money and not bother with service. I emailed "customer no-service" multiple times...NO RESPONSE, (NO SURPRISE). Now what? Absolutely no way to cancel membership so I'll have to contest charges with my credit card company to keep them from charging my card. What a hassle! I would advise anyone thinking of signing up for this service to be aware that there is virtually NO WAY to contact this company if you experience issues. Proceed at your own risk!!!!
