The Mega Life And Health The Mega Life and Health Ripoff Insurance. Expensive deductibles for no coverage. Harrisburg Pennsylvania
When I opened my business I looked for Health Insurance for the small business hard working people. Found The Mega Life and Health Ripoff Insurance through the NASE - National Association of Self Employed group. They offered me a "personalised package" that would give me a premium brake and cover all my needs and my, soon to expect, wife's.
We had insurance before we bought theirs, but since I was about to quit on the other company to open my own, I had to buy a policy before the transition so my wife could be covered for the without any problem of lapse and or claim of preexisting condition bull of crap. Then the nightmare started.
Multiple underwriters, high deductables, MAC that does not cover anything before deductibles are not met and then limits on how much it covers per year per procedures, and so on and so forth.
So my wife got pregnant and started the prenatal care. After over $6,000 dollars in deductibles paid for the year ended and a new deductible kicked in for the same condition! I had been told if the doctors' offices and hospital would have billed me all at once at the end of the treatment I would only have to pay for the deductible of the year in which the bill had been presented, but since they are charging it separately a new deductible will have to be fulfilled before the "lack of" benefits will kick in!
So it will cost us $6,500.00 out of pocket, plus whatever else they will come up with, when I am still paying over $4,000.00 from last years' emergency hospital visits that my son and pregnant wife had to do, after my son had a seizure.
Please help us, as a new business owner and strapped I need justice against people who does not care about our health just their own pockets!
