I had a $25 Gift Mastercard from this company, called The Perfect Gift. 

When I activated this card on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at 4:30 PM, I realized that my card had a balance of only $13. When I called 1-855-288-0926 (number on the back of the card), I was told that they had deducted fee of $3/month. I pointed out that a monthly fee kicks in only after the activation of the card and I had activated the card just few minutes before the call. I was told that this has to be handled by customer service and my call was being forwarded to the customer service. After waiting for several minutes, my call automatically got dropped and the same thing got repeated when I called again.

Since then I have called The Perfect Gift 6 times and have spoken to their employees Richard, Mauro and Dany and 2 more employees whose names I don't remember. Everytime the same story has been repeated.  It's clear this company has no intentions of resolving this issue and wasting my time. 

I believe its not a matter of $12, but honesty and integrity. So many innocent people like me buy Gift Cards for their family and friends. I can't imagine the amout of money these companies must be stealing from innocent people all over Canada.

I am publishing this report so whoever reads this report will not buy a Gift Card from The Perfect Gift.
